Found the problem today finally it failed and or acted up! The pass. side door will not lock or unlock with remote. If I manual lock the door it beeps etc... but want lock or unlock so that is the door where the problem is. What is the next step to determine what part it is that failed?

I unhooked the battery and let it set for a full day. That didn't change anything. I called and talked to my dealership and asked them/told them what was going on. They said if it was the motor or actuator that the locks would not be working right at all? So I trying to see if that is true...

Thanks to all of you for all the info. All the doors to lock but no beep. They also lock twice when button is pushed and do the same thing when driving at 15mph or higher twice.

I need some help! My wife's 2013 4-runner when you hit the lock button the key it locks the doors twice but doesn't honk the horn? Also when driving it locks the door twice vs once like it use to. Any idea what this might be?

Well after talking to EGR, they sent me yet another set of rear visors. So my question now is what is the best way to clean the channel once the old ones come off? I am worried that if i keep missing with the weather stripping/channel in the window I will damage it? My plan when I get a...

I was looking at it again today before leaving to go on a fishing trip. Here are the pics. What I noticed was a little wear on the back of the tires then I looked at the front of tire and saw similar so I went to my tundra and I see the same thing on it same place. Pics are in this order...

Ok guys I really don't see how it could but then again saw the spot and was wondering is all. Has anyone every seen this happen before with this sizes tires?

Again thanks for the feedback! So in everyone's opion is it rubbing? I just don't see how sense tires are 275/70/17" tires on OEM rims. Yes not OEM size but only went up one size and if I recall some people are running 285's on theirs with leveling kit.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes alignment was done after tires and been running them for 1 year plus. As u see I have them on regular stock sr5 rims but stuck with 275/70/17 vs 285/70/17 to make sure I would not have problems with rubbing. When u say full stuff? What are u referring to...
