2016 TRD Pro - Quicksand - Low Miles - Charlotte, NC

Good evening. Listing our 2016 TRD Pro 4Runner for sale. I bought the truck from the original owner who's a friend of a friend here in Charlotte, NC in the fall of 2018. He purchased it new from Lugoff Toyota across the border in SC and just used it as a daily for the past 2.5 years. I've added...

    2.0 Rear Shock Options?

Couldn't agree more! My SAWs came from Wheeler's and Dan set me up with a great deal! Thanks for the help. I'll give Dan a call on Monday about the SAW rear shocks. I have a rear bump stop kit already so these should do the trick.

    2.0 Rear Shock Options?

Spoke to SAW and they have no recommendations...not much help at all. Anyone know if shocks from a later model Tacoma of FJ Cruiser will adapt over to the 3rd Gen's? The FJ Cruiser rear shock looks to have a similar top bushing design as our trucks? .

    2.0 Rear Shock Options?

Ok, so I've decided to hang onto my '99 T4R and keep building on it (was for sale for few weeks). I'd like to finish off a few areas on the truck before driving it from NC to CO/UT in mid-September for off road trip. Primarily looking to upgrade my rear shocks to a set of 2.0" rebuildable...

Wet Okole's in my 3rd Gen

Thanks! I made them. I bought a large sheet of diamond plate from Lowes to finish off the top plate on my rear bumper and ended up having enough left to make sill guards for all 4 doors.

Fairly trashed! You can see it in this pic:

Wet Okole's in my 3rd Gen

If your A/C works well then you will be fine. Here in the south where humidity is high in the summers if I ride with the windows down they do cause me to sweat more. As others have said the only draw back of the neoprene is it's lack of breathing well.

Oddly enough I get exact same feeling. One wouldn't think the 1/2" of padding would make that much difference but it does. Personally I like the new seating position. Visability is a bit better.

    Armored/lifted 4Runners on 32's

I just went the opposite direction - 32s (265/75s) to 33s (285/70s). Honestly there's not much of a difference mileage wise. Of course my 265s were "E" rated as well so if you go with a "C" or "D" rated tire then that could make a signifigant difference. Here's a few pics of my fully...
