WOW! I would have never thought you could fit 34's or anything close without a lift! Makes me feel better about my plan for a 4" lift with 35's. Thanks!

Looks like a clean truck! Do you have any lift at all? Those tires look stuffed in there!

Mine is almost completely stock. I've only added add a leafs in the rear to level it. It's got rinky dink all weather looking tires but it did fine as long as I have stayed in the ruts and kept my momentum up! It was heavy wet snow though. I would have had more confidence in the light fluffy stuff.

No, this is Larch Mtn. The first pic was parked at the L1552 rd. The next two were headed down the L1500 road and the last one is headed down L1600 to the staging area for Jones Creek ORV.

I want to see your soft tops!

Does anybody know if Softopper ever puts these on sale? I won't be installing this until sometime in the spring so I am in no hurry to order it. I would hate to order it now and find out Softopper runs a special in March!

Took the family up in the mountains on Christmas day to play in the snow. I only got one pic of the 4Runner but my daughter took a couple cool pics on the ride back down: I think my wife actually took this one from the back seat: The clouds filling the valleys below us were pretty cool...

I want to see your soft tops!

What size tires are you running? Do you have any lift? Mine is completely stock and I am planning on a set of 31X10.50 BFG's before next winter. I like the look of yours but am guessing those are bigger than 31's. I am eventually going to lift it and put 35's under it but not until I have...

I want to see your soft tops!

Thanks to everybody who replied! I am surprised no one replied with the KTT. I do like the way the rear windows are cut to resemble the hard top windows but I think what I am going to order is the Softopper with tinted windows. I would love one of the bikini tops but living in the PNW where rain...

I want to see your soft tops!

Thanks @lofreqjef ! One thing I was interested in was how the tinted windows looked on the softopper. I would prefer them but I was afraid they would look purple and all of the pics I found of their top online had the un tinted windows. You and ChildrenOfBodom each have great looking trucks!

I want to see your soft tops!

I have the $$$ to put either a Softopper or Killer Toy Top on my '87 this summer and am trying to decide which way to go. I would love to see pics of each top on different trucks as well as hear the pros and cons of each one. Thanks!

Did you do the swap? I've been considering this myself.

Help with '87 4Runner add a leaf fittment

Add-A-Leaf in an '87, before and after pics

If anyone is curious what the affect add-a-leafs have on a stock 1st gen here you go! My rig is an '87 and had the typical rear end sag. I measured just to be sure it wasn't an illusion and had roughly 18" of clearance at the body seam directly behind the front fender well and only 17-1/4" at...

Help with '87 4Runner add a leaf fittment

I got the Skyjacker R5005 add a leafs and finally had some time to install them tonight. They are not correct for '86-'89 4Runners but with a simple mod they work fine. There is a retainer at each end of the spring pack that prohibits a long leaf from being installed. You can see the rear one...

Looks like you have a great time with your rig! What do you have for a lift? 4"?
