Blue 3mm LED | Through Hole LEDs | Component LEDs | Super Bright LEDs These will work correct?

Any easy way to go about tapping into a 12v source? Do I just run a jumper to the back of the 4mm LEDs? And is that going to matter since it may contact the 6v contacts on the board? How about the leds for the indicator arrows. Where do i get those at and what size.

Has anyone tried this for the HVAC or is it easier to just tap into a different source for a higher voltage to get the High powered LEDS to work on the HVAC. I want to make the screen brighter. Any suggestions?

I found putting a couple of small pieces of paper stacked on top of each other helps diffuse the light to get rid of hot spots. Also, the HP ones have a larger angle of light and they are not that much brighter. They'll work everywhere on your HVAC Controls excpet the LCD Display. I know I...

This worked perfectly. My dumbass didn't replace the gear selector back lights so I had to take it out just to change those two LED's out. Other than that it came out great. Here's a few pics for ya. This came out great and wasn't too hard. Definitely time consuming. I love it though...

Hey guys, once you've replaced all of the LED's on the gauges, is there any way to test that they all work before putting it all back together? I really am hoping that I don't have to put it all together to find out I have one bad LED.

I tried the neo-3 from superbrightleds.com and they leave nasty hotspots on the hvac controls. Any suggestions?
