My wife has a 2019 RDX with what sounds like the same issue. The cause was a faulty AC expansion valve. I don’t know anything about AC systems, but it could be something to look into.

I’ll be watching this thread. I have a 2023 but that exact noise you describe grates on me, wish I knew exactly what it is.

Have you used it on a 2023? I have a Foseal ELM adapter and I tried it with CarScanner App but it didn’t show ATF temps. Edit: I’ve been trying different things and I’m getting a pan reading using the Car Scanner App, paired with the Foseal WiFi adapter. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I have a 2023 SR5. I think Toyota took away the ability to get into temp check mode using the 4 and 13 pins on the OBD connector. There are only 6 wires going into mine on pins 4, 5, 6, 7, 14 and 16. Can anyone verify this, or hopefully we use different pins now? Thanks Sent from my iPad...

I just want to thank everyone who contributed to this thread, I was able to successfully replace my failed regulator yesterday. I was able to get 3 of the 4 window bracket bolts out, had to drill one out. I’m sure had I gone to the dealer I would have paid to replace the glass also. All the pics...

Also check to see if the spring that separates the front brake pads is missing from either side, which will cause more of a clack than a clunk.

Did you replace the radiator cap also?
