just some cheapies from autozone...3 something for a pack of two. just remember to get two packs cause you'll need 3 bulbs. also once inside the cluster the bulbs you replace have green knobs.

heres the finished look. pretty easy to do. you have to really watch not to scratch the ignition plastic as well as the top of the steering wheel when removing the plastic piece.

spot on thanks bran52191....finished up in about 30 minutes...i changed the backlight to an orange glow to match my sirius reciever.

thanks for the help, i figured it needed replaced. do i need to get the bulb via a dealer, or would an auto parts store generally carry this? also, does anyone have any kind of write up on this....thanks guys.

So I got in my runner late the other evening, started it up and the D ( drive) icon on the dash quit lighting up. Does anyone have a remedy for this that preferably doesn't require taking the dash apart? Its really kind of a trivial problem, but its one thats been buggin me. All other dash...

Every time I drive my vehicle cold and it shifts into 2nd gear ( auto trans) it seems to not want to shift very smoothly. This only happens the 1st time I accelerate, and it only happens in the second gear. Any clues as to what might cause this....thanks in advance.

I'm so glad I found this bulletin. I just recently bought a used 2001 sr5 runner. I kept hearing this sound when I came to a stop and thought something had to be wrong. Since I just purchased the vehicle, and the warranty ran out, I didn't want to have to take it to the shop.......thanks again.
