Sounds good, but if I use the cd button for the ipod then: 1. does the cd player still work? 2. does it cause any conflict with the input if I have a cd in or something like that? Sounds likes you have this setup so figured you might know.

I purchased an 04 4runner sr5 that has the stock stereo. No brand name other than toyota but what seems to be a serial #16852. AM/FM/Tape/Single CD stereo. For reference an individual is selling the same stereo on ebay (mine looks identical on the front plate)...
