try getting a new key made. mine was doing this a while back and getting a new key solved the problem.

130,000 on my 97 limited. 205,000 on my dad's 96 sr5. both still running strong nothing but routine maintenance on both.

i used to live in the apartments by target over there. i had to get out because of all the traffic and craziness since they opened the pinnacle. we ended up buying a house out in gardendale.

nope i was talking about the switch that's on the center console by the e-brake handle.

my dad has a problem with his 96 rear hatch window. his window will roll down but not roll up with the switch does anyone else have this problem? he has to get out and roll it up with the key. ive tried swapping out the switches from my 97 and that didnt help. any help would be appreciated...

perfect!!! thats one of the headunits i was looking into buying now you just confirmed it for me. if you dont mind me asking how did you wire up that switch to bypass the dvd player and where did you mount the switch.
