Yea and I totally understand your opinion on this. I actually hate black wheels on anything other than a black vehicle. Its that "murdered" out look that makes it sick in my opinion. On a trail which is already without any chrome or silver trim... ;)

The reason I would like to go with totally different wheels is for the reduction in weight. I actually thought of your suggestion but my whole reason for doing this would be to reduce the weight that I added when I changed the stock tires to duratracs. It will not bring me completely back down...

Just to let you all know, confirmed weight by manufacturer is 22lbs!!! Holy **** am I ordering these!

Thanks for all the input guys, I believe I can get these from the nearest DiscountTire as well which will make it easy on me. Around 650 installed including tax. I really like the price, would love the Mickey Thompson's more as I am biased to that brand... though not being able to get 100%...

Warranty 1 year from the date of purchase for workmanship and material defects for finish. Lifetime Structural Warranty for manufacturer defects. The Vehicle they will be installed on is Black.

From what I have found they are 24lbs, though information for weights of these things seems to be misleading. I was also looking at the Mickey Thompson Classic 2's in black, though on the MT site it states those are 24lbs too, but then on a retailer's site they say 27lbs...?

I am looking to put some wheels on my Runner to kill off some of the extra weight the Duratracs added. I was looking at the Level 8 Tracker's in black. 17x8.5 6-139.7 -6 Are these a cheap alternative? I definitely do not want to compromise on quality. If you have any other suggestions...

Running about 37 psi all the way around. Feels quite stable and smooth at this pressure. Might try bumping them back up to 44 to see how that feels again since the issue wasn't with pressure.

Got the issue resolved. It was all balancing like most. Went to a different shop other than the initial and they were a certified GY retailer which they couldn't say enough good things about the duratrac. They stated that all 4 were out of balance and they may need to tweak to my liking...

The stock tires definitely did not feel this way. Also, I wasn't able to see if they actually put them back on the balancer or not.. had to drop it off. I am actually just going to take it to another capable shop and get their opinion on the matter... if they think it is the tires I will go...

Reata, Thanks for the input, and I wish it was that simple. I haven't even made it an inch offroad yet, the puppy still has 240 miles on her. This is driving me nuts and with no help from the shop that installed the tires... I'm lost. I think I'm going to take it to a really good alignment...

I have ran them at 40-44psi and still the same results on either. Also, I did note your reply about a possible defective tire.. though this tire shop does not seem to think so. I think I may drive to the nearest Discount tire and have them check it out. Am I crazy though for thinking road...
