so the CEL code is 11 defective TPS its brand new so im not sure why the code ,but man this thing is kicking my ass!!!

i finally got things rolling on my 4runner project and im hitting a wall with this issue hoping you guys can help. i have an 85 4runner dlx using as a daily driver im having an issue with the trans where it goes into a limp mode 3rd gear and wont respond to the accelerator the O/D light blinks...

hey so i just went to check on it and pulling out i a brake line blew , wasnt meant to be its behind the gas tank so thats going to get dropped .... thanks for all your help guys

i swear the Toy gods hate me ,I got my tags today and was putting the plate on to take my 85 4r to exhaust and drive to get paint estimates while warming it up(have a no heat thread going as well no luck there either) but i smelled gas of course didnt even get the license plate on i gas pouring...

thanks for the reply tried burping a few times have no gurgling took t stat out boiled it works perfect , 188 or so im thinking the vent door like you nev but when i flip from hot to cold i hear a shutter inside the dash i had the dash torn apart and the blue cable that connects to the heat...

So i pulled the heater core hoses and flushed it also made sure the heater control valve free flows still have no heat let truck idle for 20 min maybe getting cold air air with drop of heat there are no leaks of anykind dont know whats left to try any ideas would be appreciated

ill pull it tommorow and see if thats the culprit thanks for the quick answer
