We're gonna do one in a more robust material, apparently there's a type of nylon that's more robust in hot environments. Don't think it'll matter much since this isn't close to header or exhaust, but we'll do it anyway. Just let me know if you want one sometime and I'll see what I can do...

I believe this is an intentional safety feature on the vehicle, as it allows you to verify that your tabs have not been stolen before heading out for a day of adventure.

Installed mine today, took about an hour. Hardest part was stripping the maf wires from the loom and getting that all taped and routed. Also, I used a little rubber thing I found at Ace in the 'little rubber thing bin', supposedly it's for Chevy license plate mounting? Fit perfectly, no permatex...
