Found a 97 runner 4x4 with 138,000 miles for 4,000. Appears to be in good shape took it for a spin and everything is in working order. Only thing is the timing belt hasn't been done. Besides that and rust on frame anything else to look out for on these? How is the auto trans reliability? Thanks...

Pretty much what I was thinking.

Was looking at a 98 4runner. Engine wise and cosmetic wise it's in great shape. Guy has receipts for everything but when I looked under this is some of what I saw. Snapped some pics. On a scale of 1-10 how bad is this? Don't have a lot of experience with rust living in the south. Thanks!
