Replaced the switch with the one I got off of eBay and same problem, dim light on switch is dead... So I either blew something, or melted the wire within the harness :-( Maybe the tap I did broke the connection and it's just coincidence that it happened when I did the multimeter stupid above?
I didn't smell anything burnt or melted, so fingers crossed there. I'm not sure which fuse to check. I don't see one for light dimming. Can you tell me which fuse I would check for the dimmable switch/button lights?
Here is a diagram reference for the fuses...

I tapped into the green and grey wires on my OEM heated windshield washer button to use the dimming on another switch. I used a multimeter to test and measure the voltage as I rotated the dimmer switch and it appeared to work as the voltage went down and up as I moved the dimming...
I've been out of the loop for a while... Broke my wist last year and it severely affected fun time :-(
I'm ready to replace the suspension on my '14 Trail Edition that has the following added:
SSO Slimline Front bumper
SSO Roof Rack
Rock Rails/Sliders
Tepui Kukenam Ruggedized Sky 3 RTT
There...
I finally found some that will work! I think... 80/20 stuff isn't exactly cheap!
Roll-in nuts
Eye bolts
EDIT:
And... just eye bolts are available on SSO's website now. I wanted the drop-in or roll-in nuts though.
I was looking at the 80/20 T-Nuts so I could just buy some eye bolts... But I can't find eye bolts that fit the two thread patterns available anywhere I've searched.
Does anyone have the inside scoop on where one can find them?
The top three Drop-In T-Nuts found here are what I was looking at...
Awesome! Thanks :)
I'm hoping to get it before my trip this april. I may temporarily mount the tent to the OEM rack rails if it looks like I wont get it in time. I don't have the crossbars but someone else mounted it this way and said it should be fine. Preferred would be with the new rack!
Anyone know what sort of hardware I'll need to mount a RTT to this rack? I was hoping to have everything ready for installation when my rack arrives; short window of arrival and a trip I have planned so I want to be ready to install my RTT. Pics of how your tent is mounted to a similar rack...
