i bought my 03 v8 4x4 sr5 with 56k miles for $10.5k, All fluids flushed at 30k, all new brakes, band new tires etc, 1 owner.

i dont know if ive overlooked it, will the REAR coils from a 2010-2014 FJ swap over to the 4th gen without the need for modification? what amount of lift if gained from the rear? about 1/2" ?

in about a month, i will do an install/write up on swapping over TRD Coil/shocks from Tacoma, and depending on rear shock mounting type, may swap rear shocks as well if they fit, if i can find a set of FJ rear coils that would be ideal as well.

i have an 03 v8 and have no issues at all. average 15.5mpg city and havent been able to calculate hwy mileage yet the v8 has a 5spd transmission(fairly certain), while the v6 has a 4spd until 05 i think it was?

when i did a headunit only in my tacoma (kenwood headunit) the stock speakers sounded much better, at reasonable volume levels, when cranked up real loud they flattened out. might as well start out with the headunit and replace speakers at a later date, as the stock speakers "may" sound good...

which wires get spliced in together at the tweeter location? i will be doing my stereo/speaker install in about 2 weeks
