    Thanks for the detailed info. I just went thru the circuit board on my radio with a soldering iron paying special attention to the areas you mentioned and so far the problem seems to be fixed!

    Not all rivnuts pull/expand the same way. You may want to test a few in some scrap sheet to see how they behave/hold.
