    Opinion on Falkens Rocky ATS

I have these tires and I love them. I don't have in that size, I have em' in 275/65/18 and haven't ever had any issues with them. They're tough tires and they've always performed really well for me in on-and-off-road conditions. I would definitely recommend them, however I will agree that their...

TrekLights LED Light Bar Group Buy

The only light on TrekLights website that is available with the combination spot/beam pattern is the 42" TrekLight ES (with the Epistars), also the seal failure issue was another question I had. However, it seems as these lights are pretty new to the market as offered from Troy, so there may not...

TrekLights LED Light Bar Group Buy

I'm curious, are the bodies of these lights both made out of heavy aluminum? Also, I was looking at the 42" TrekLight ES in the combination beam pattern, but I'm worried that the bar will be too wide to fit properly on my 4Runner. In case anyone was wondering, the measurement between the two...

Plasti Dip Rims w/ lots o' pics

if you're using plastidip, there's no need to tape off your tires as plastidip doesn't adhere well to petroleum based products (petroleum based solvents are like an eraser to this product). as long as you armor all your tires and clean them before you spray with plastidip, you'll be good to go...

tried out plastidip for the first time - what do you guys think?

Exactly. It's pretty easy. The hardest part for me was patience. I ended up with some bubbling in the rear badges because they were sprayed with the very last of one of the cans I had, and the mix wasn't right (I think), and then on top of that, I think I over sprayed them - but by then I was...

    AC Outlets

Well I don't think the OP is talking about a 5th gen because dont they already have an outlet in the cargo area? OP wants to have an outlet in the cargo area, but he doesn't have one at all. And I think his pic is of a 3rd gen.

I've been talking about a 4th gen 4runner... I think that's how this thread started

by the way I got the idea for this from cricoid's plastidip post

the tire shine I use is applied with a sponge. that way it doesn't get on the plastidip and as far how thick it is, it was a learning experience so that was just a byproduct of my inexperience with the product. another thing is that bug & tar remover is like an eraser to this stuff

i tried my first run with plastidip today. i think it came out pretty good! i ended plastidipping the badges as well as the rims. all in all, it took me about 4 1/2 hours. what do you guys think?

    AC Outlets

i think the stock inverter is located very near the plug in the center console. if you lift up the panel around the shift knob (i think!) it's somewhere around there. as for what zopperman said, he's right. if one was to replace the stock inverter, then the oem wiring would have to go...

    Falken Rocky Mountain/Wild Peak ATS

I have the Falken Rocky Mountain ATS's on my 4Runner, and they've never let me down. They do a great job in sand, mud, water, and on rocks (or gravel). I don't think you can beat them for that price. I think I paid about 800-900 when I got mine about 6 - 12 months ago. I don't think that $500...

    AC Outlets

I also have that AC 115V option on my limited and it doesn't always work like i'd like. I know the panel that you're talking about (on the drivers side) comes out pretty easily. just take off the bottom trip piece where your hatch is, and then remove the cargo net hooks/clips and it just pops...

    Plastidip!

So this is a rubberized coating? Does it feel like it's going to flake off or rip at all?
