Trading my 4Runner for a Tundra

I have an 07 Crewmax too and my folks 07 4runner. I believe the 4runner is put together a little better and don't know if it is because it is built in Japan or just not the first model year like the 07 Tundra. Rust is no issue in Houston. Our previous vehicles were all Fords. Just liked these 2...

    Tire choice

I run Michelin AT/2 on my 07 Tundra, and they are great but you pay for it. 60,000 warranty, lighter P rating tire then the Coopers. Just an alternative: The 4 runner has the Michelin MS/2 which is prilific in the longevity department with a 70,000 mile ratting. My dads truck has 103,000 miles...

    Cracked Manifold? Lazy Dealer?

Take the service adviser or manager with you for a ride and show him what you hear if it is that loud.

    $350 4runner

Where do you go to find motors at that low price?

    alignment sheet after lift

Caster is too low. If they can't get it at least to the high 2.# consider aftermarket UCA like Light Racing to get you more into spec. Hope someone else would chime in on the caster, that is low.

TOP GEAR - UK vs US

UK is more informative, but US deal more with our market vehicles. Us needs to get into the technical side more and give us the objective good and bad on a machine when it is evaluated. UK DOES THAT HOLDING NOTHING BACK.

    Time to say farewell.

I have an 07 tundra and folks an 07 4runner, so I come to forum to learn about their vehicle. Needles to say the 4runner is a tank in the dependability department. You mentioned your Tundras accelerator pedal is touchy, they probably added a shim or new accelerator pedal that IS VERY touchy...

What alignment numbers for stock 4th gen

Tire wear same since new. Both equally worn inside of tires. Alignment last was 10,000 miles aprox. Vehicle is street driven by the best STREET driver in the family, mom! My concern is that tire wear was noticed at 9-11,000 on odometer miles to be inside of both fronts. After rotation with rear...

What alignment numbers for stock 4th gen

Thank you for numbers. I am wondering if there are specific numbers to shoot for instead of RANGE in caster, camber, toe, cross caster etc.?

What alignment numbers for stock 4th gen

I am trying to find ideal 4th gen (2007) stock alignment numbers to take with me to alignment shop that does only alignments for their bread and butter. I searched here, allot on lifted vehicles but little on stock. The 4runner has been wearing inside of both front tires since new. Took it to...

is it poser to put a lift and big tires on a 2WD?

90% of Lifted trucks don't see the dirt, as said it is yours so customize it to your likes. I have adjustable 5100 to level my TUNDRA and looks nice, 4x2 with A/T TIRES. Would I go off road if required, yes; would I go rock crawling with it, heck no! The other option for me would have been...

Do your leather seats look like crap?

Wonder if the leatherette (vinyl) is just better as in the VW"S when they put low quality leathers? Our previous C 230 had 12 year old NATUZZI leather from the factory that looked brand spanking new. People always asked if we put in new leather in a 12 year old mercedez. If you slide out of...

    Talk About a Sweet Deal!

I don't dare ask what invoice is. Why don't they put that 4.6 in the 4runner?

    Hood Flex

I see the flex in my 2nd gen TUNDRA as well, but not as bad with a bug guard install. They are trying to reduce weight on vehicles for MPG I guess. I remember the hood of an old 1972 F 250, you could build a COROLLA with the metal that thing had in the hood!
