Been a while, but IIRC, isn't there a sleeve/spacer inside the bearing? It might be stuck inside your old pulley bearing. Tim

Usually you will hear a "click" when you try to start it when the starter contacts are bad. Several tries usually gets the starter spinning. I did see later model Camrys that did nothing when trying to start. Checked them with a voltmeter at the solenoid to verify. Tim

Should have clarified my answer a bit. If your misfire code comes back on #3, I would look at the injector. If the misfire moves to the other cylinder, then you're golden. :biggrin1: Fixed a bunch that only had a misfire code (not just on 3.4s either). :wink2: Tim

It usually can be felt in the steering wheel when the joint(s) have gotten so "tight" they won't hardly move. If you have worked on many 'yotas, it's kind of like a Sequoia rear axle bearing. You would swear the noise is coming from the front wheel bearing. DAMHIK. :crazy: Tim
