Rhino Rack - Pioneer Roof Rack
The Pioneer Rack has been on the wish list for awhile. I have been searching for a low profile, lightweight, and uses a modular accessory system. There aren’t too many options out on the market that check off those specifics.
After speaking with the team at Rhino...
Installed a Rhino Rack Pioneer rack. From opening the package to onto the truck was about 5 hours. Really quite at highway speeds. Personally, I like the quick disconnect feet. It will be awesome to store it during weeks when it's not needed.
Rear Upper Control Arm
Found a 'small' problem a few weeks back. Had been having an odd 'pop' when the rear suspension would compress and the handling under braking had become extra squirrelly.
Took a few days for the replacement to show up. Took a hell of a time to get the one in. Had to...
More Work
Catching up on posting about some of the work I've finished up on the rig recently. The Warn XD9000 winch was in dire need of some Spydura Synthetic Rope. And the terrible old battery has been a known issue for too long.
The Winch Work...
Luckily I haven’t actually needed to use the...
Great looking build. The pull out support from the drawer is a seriously great idea. I have a drawer that I just put in, but need a solution for supporting body weight up behind the front seats. Never thought about using an external set of rollers!
Projectors look clean as hell too! Good work!
Actually planning on switching wheels to some 17" Stealth Customer Series F5s in Bronze. Just have to work out my tire choice... Likely to sell these American Racing wheels. Little bit of brake dust corrosion on 2 (if anyone is interested...)
Catching up...

When I purchased the truck, it was relatively stock. One of the previous owners had installed an Old Man Emu suspension, consisting of...
Soooo....I've been wondering why the 4Runner has been acting a little squirrelly under braking and there has been a strange metallic pop/twang when I have some cargo in the back of the rig.
Crawled under it today, expecting to see a sacked out rear coil or a dead shock.
NOPE.
Looks like I...
Stock Limited trim flares that I hit with some black plastidip. The Colorado sun had faded the top of each fender and I couldn't take it any longer. Painted the flares and the side cladding all black. Still holding up really well almost a year later!
Thanks! Really appreciate everyone's friendly welcome. Certainly need to catch up with all the other Seattle 3rd Gens soon! Still have Gallagher Head Lake Wa to check off.
Hi! I’m Matt.
