It is generally recommended to remove your tape immediately after your final coat. Once dried, pulling your tape cleanly is much more difficult, and can "tear" or cause rough edges. This is pretty common practice for anyone using dip. I would also recommend 3-4+ light coats of even coverage...

If you trim a tiny part of your bumper cover, and adjust your mudflaps, the rubbing is essentially non existent. Only time I notice it, is when I swing very hard into a parking spot. About it.

4Runner finally got stuck last night. Snow was coming down so fast, it eventually got beached on the undercarriage. Snow luckily stopped, but digging out from this will take some time! Highest storm total was 85" in about 70 hours.
