This time last year I purchased my 2005 V6 Sport. 135000km (84000miles) one owner, dealer serviced. All it needed was a hand brake cable for inspection. $6000.00 No really bad rust issues but the tailgate is developing signs of rusting and I already replace the tailgate window regulator.

Anything is possible but I never even opened the tailgate to install anything so I'm pretty positive I never messed anything up inside the door near the window. The only time I popped open the tailgate was when I unplugged the ECU trying to solve the issue.
