2020 TRD Offroad wheels lug nut torque specs

The Toyota studs will stretch at anything over 85 ft/lbs and will likely break during your install at anything over 90 ft/lbs. I would definitely not use an impact wrench when installing Toyota wheels.

    Pic Request! FJ Steelies!

I have a set for sale if anyone is interested. They’ve been my winter tires since 2008 and could use some touch up so if you are planning to powder coat them these might be for you. They’d be fine using as they are. I’ve also got the FJ lug nuts that you’ll need. I’ll have a decent 4 sale post...

4th Gen alignment HELP!! after SPC install

I took it to a shop that the local 4x4 shop recommended and they were able to get everything in spec. They started from zero as mentioned above and had to do it twice because they ran out of tie rod adjustment for toe. After using the lower control arm caster adjustment to move the wheels...

    Towing with 2006 V8 Sport

I tow all the time with my 2006 4 Runner V8. It did have XREAS at one time but has been replaced with Bilsteins/FJ springs and now Monroe “OEM”. I pull a 24 ft 4 place enclosed snowmobile trailer and it does just fine. It’s been a while since I replaced the XREAS, but I don’t recollect any...

4th Gen alignment HELP!! after SPC install

Ugh Without being incriminating I inquired with the tech about the caster settings and he said the driver side UCA had to be set at max setting. I'm not sure if that is a result of other settings being set first or if he needed to make that adjustment first. All of the adjustment cams, bolts...

4th Gen alignment HELP!! after SPC install

Thanks for the feedback fellas. I was told the driver side upper control arm was at its max setting. Without this it would have been much worse. It handles like a track car with the castor settings but is very darty on uneven roads. I have stock 18” wheels and tires on now but would never be...

Mysterious Clicking Noise From Front Breaks

New brake hardware It's nothing to worry about. I had the same problem when I reused the old hardware during a brake job (new pads and rotors). I replaced the pad retention springs with new Toyota springs and no more clicking. Correct, new pads do not come with anti squeal shims. This is a...
