Ya, I've seen that stuff cause more problems than it fixes... In that case, the only thing you can do is pull the radiator and try to backflush it, and hopefully clean out all that junk, but you may ultimately end up needing to replace the radiator as that would probably be cheaper than taking...

There's two things it sounds like he did wrong, but neither means anything is messed up, the plugs are just in really tight now. First, putting spark plugs in a hot motor isn't usually a problem unless you overtighten them in the first place, and when the motor cools and the metal contracts...

It takes a lot of junk to clog a radiator, unless you (or someone else ;): ) has tried to fix a leak in the cooling system and added some "Stop-Leak" additive which could clog the radiator. I would check the thermostat. It may not be opening fully anymore and not allowing the coolant to flow...

Sorry, but that is poor advice. It's always a good idea, not to mention cheap insurance, to inspect the wires coming from the battery. It's a fact that one of the reasons a starter motor will die is because of corrosion in the wires causing the starter to overheat. I'm not saying that's why...

1) The only thing I can think that would keep the wheel from coming off is if it's binding on the hub for some reason. Are the wheels OEM or aftermarket (and wrong size)? Probably going to have to brute force the wheel off the hub. 2) 4wd? It's not hard, but not as trivial as 2wd vehicles...

From the description of the symptoms, it sounds like it's time to replace the starter. I wouldn't get a "new" one from the dealer though, I'd try for a "reconditioned" one from O'Reilly's. They usually lifetime warranty their reconditioned parts. But, don't stop looking at just the starter...

Owner is asking $5300. Owner just replaced the motor, and I took the vehicle for a test drive and the motor feels fine. It's a 5-spd manual, and the clutch felt "old", but no slippage. Tranny doesn't make any noise as neither does the suspension - nice quiet and firm ride still without...
