Owner is asking $5300.
Owner just replaced the motor, and I took the vehicle for a test drive and the motor feels fine. It's a 5-spd manual, and the clutch felt "old", but no slippage. Tranny doesn't make any noise as neither does the suspension - nice quiet and firm ride still without squeaks or rattles. It is 4wd, but I didn't check that, and the owner says they hardly ever used it. Don't recall the exact mileage, but it's well over 100K... somewhere in the 120's I think.
It has the electric moonroof, and all window motors (including rear hatch) and door locks work properly with no unusual noises.
The interior has no rips, burn holes, or worn spots on the cloth seats. Owner had cloth seat covers installed from the beginning over the seats, so fabric underneath is in great shape. Don't know if those are "Toyota" seat covers, but if the owner hadn't told me about the seat covers I wouldn't have known they were covers. The fit perfect. Other than sun fading, the dash looks great - no cracks in the vinyl.
Exterior looks fantastic. Other than minor rock chips in the paint, the paint job looks great still. (Midnight Pearl Blue is what I think it is)
Owner says it came with the "sport package" and "towing package", but when asked, she didn't know what upgrades each package provided.
Does anyone know what the sport package consisted of that year? It has running boards, which I presume was part of the sport package. Also, did the towing package include a suspension upgrade?
Considering the vehicle has a "fresh" motor, and the condition of the interior/exterior and the suspension, I'm thinking the price isn't out of line for a '91 vehicle.
Any thoughts on what else to look for?
