ive got a 94 sr5 4runner with 180k miles. On acceleration i get a humming vibration from the shifter console (auto). when i let off the gas it goes away. it does this intermittently. Sound familiar to anyone??

ive recently bought a 94 sr5 4runner (auto) with 177k miles. This is my first t4r so i am just getting used to it. Heres my dilemma, when the truck is cold, and i go about normal driving (in o/d) it seems not to want to shift into 4th gear for a few mins/miles. it hovers around 3k'ish rpms...
