    2nd row k9 seat cover

Looking for those that have added a 2nd row seat cover for their dog. I got a German Shep. and need a cover that fits tight, doesn't move around, water proof, quality build. A lot out there are general fits, sloppy and aren't worth the cost of shipping.....Thanks for any help offered.

    Brake Pads

ceramic v semi metallic I've found ceramic pads tend to be harsh producing more wear on rotors thru excessive heat build up and heat retention. Semi metallic pads I prefer, mainly due to smoother, quieter braking and less wear/tear on rotors while producing more brake dust.

Do I really need to replace rotors?

Rotor replacement So strickly from a braking perspective...Braking on most vehicles tend to show more wear on the front brake pads/rotors. Brake pads will generally last 60k before they need close inspection for wear/replacement. So your front rotors also need to be inspected at same intervals...

tire choice for long highway and extreme offroad

MasterCraft So my son has a 2007 4Runner that needed tires last year. After pricing tires he liked...his wallet stopped him dead in his tracks. My tire dealer supplies MasterCraft tires, so he looked into that line and found the Courser CXT(E) tires that were, at least more affordable. He does...

    Alton Illinois - Mungenast Toyota

Always looking to save money on OEM parts without subbing for some after-market crap that doesn't fit...exactly...or flatout poor quality. Was buying OEM filters online thinking I was saving money. A friend of mine clued me into Dave Mungenast Toyota in Alton Illinois. OEM parts that match or...

    Oil Change Interval Poll

Plain and simple Number one reason for oil change....contaminants. Contaminants in the oil is the main reason conventional oils were swapped out at 3000miles, as well as blended oils at 3000miles and full synthetic at 5000....no later. Look at the oil at 5000, its DARK brown to black. Cars are...

4x4 service shops in Jacksonville, FL

My son recently moved to the Jacksonville, FL area. He's got a 07 4Runner with a 2" lift. Apparently one of the CV axles, drivers side has failed and now needs to be replaced. Being new to this region, he knows of no reliable shops in the area, and most traditional service shops will not work on...

    2007 4RnR Brakes

Need to do a front brake job on a 2007 4RnR. Most likely going to replace the rotors, pads and bleed the system. So, I've seen numerous responses stating OEM brake pads are the best to use. With what I need to do, I usually use RockAuto for parts. What company makes the OEM pads and rotors? The...

    Replacing windshield

insurance coverage all depends on if you have a glass replacement policy. Simply implying insurance should cover this cost is wrong, unless you chose glass replacement coverage and then, there's your deductible. Your cost will solely depend on the coverage you've elected for your vehicle.

    Potential 2" lift

With any of these 2" lifts, is there any angle change where the CV axles have to be considered? That's one of the reasons I'm hesitant on lifting, do I need to address cv axle angle change? I'm looking for a little bit of extra ground clearance, keeping OEM tire and wheel size. Like 'fkheath' my...

    Potential 2" lift

So I've seen a whole bunch of lift possibilities, companys, products, procedures....etc. I'm thinking of lifting (2") my 2018 4runner SR5 Off Road for light duty trail riding (hunting..logging roads and such) and a slightly larger, better gripping tire. So for those that have lifted, what have...

    Paralyzed by indecision on tires

A different approach... So if you are 90% on road...how about this idea. Buy an extra set of rims, stock, or something you don't blow too much money on and pick up a set of A/T tires that will fit your occasional use. I plan on doing the same when I travel for grouse hunts. Fire lanes, gravel...
