How's this for a dumb@$$ moment... The reason why the wiper wouldn't park was because there was no "blade" left on the rubber. It was too close to the rear window to retract and park. Downside, you cannot buy a rear wiper blade for a pre-96 4Runner anywhere in Bismarck, ND. Had to buy a 14"...

It tries to seat, but get stuck on the "ramp" that guides it to the "park" position. I've thought about using a popsicle stick to extend the wiper arm side and to prevent it from jamming on that little ramp. Once I pull it off that "ramp" a touch, it snaps right into the "park" position.

Is there a fix for a rear wiper that won't "park?" I need my wiper as the temps warm up here in Bismarck, but the damn thing won't park on it's own. I'm thinking about a popsicle stick and some vinyl eletrical tape to get it to retract on it's own... Thoughts, ideas, comments?

I'm gonna do the "Taco Antenna Mod" to get rid of the power antenna. If you go to google and do a search for it, you'll find something. I have it bookmarked at home. If you can find it, it has the part #s you need to order online. Jim

I can't speak for anything but my 1995. It's got that "golden brown" interior. But I'd take the cupholders in black, just to keep my drink from getting knocked over when I lean it in the center console. Jim

Finally found a ruler. It's 36mm long. the other bulbs (3175) are 31mm long. The 6418 bulb is the right one for my tailgate (rear) dome.

i like that...tried it, went to Rock Auto, O'Reilley, etc, all said the same. 3175 is too short to go into that clip. The bulb I took out was longer than the bulbs I took out of the dome, maplight, etc. Hence the reason why I came here. I have a bunch of 3175 (31mm) bulbs. All are too...

Any of you guys know the size/type of bulb that goes into the dome light at the tailgate? I ordered some 31mm Festoon LEDs for the interior lights in the 95. Fit everywhere but the rear dome. I'm guessing it's a 33-35mm, but can't find an exact match. The #s on the old bulb aren't very...

then you were lucky. My wires were broken inside the boot. All I could do was pull them out from either side and splice. I might have to go to Walmart and get a wire hanger...

That's what it was. Found the Red/Black wire broken, ran a new one, window went down, but no up. Then found the Red/Green wire broke. Ran new one, works. BUT, how in the !@#$! did you get wires through the rubber boot? I tried for about 15 minutes and gave up. Made a temp fix by running...

Chased the last of my electrical gremlins... Dome light was intermittent - Dang gremlin let the bulb fell out of the prongs. All doors don't unlock from driver's w/ key - still chasing that guy. he's sneaky. Front passenger window doesn't work - He's hanging out with the door unlocker...
