I had read through this theard. I am actually looking to change the gauge cluster. I already changed the center console to blue. I took apart the gauge cluster a while back and know that they are LEDs but don't know the size. They are flush mounts.
I know this has been asked in a couple of threads but after going through the forum, nobody really answers this question... Has anyone changed the LEDs in the dash? I would like to make them blue but I'm trying to find out what kind of LEDs to use. There are different types of flush mount LEDs...
Sorry I didn't post a write up yet. Saturday turned out to be a very busy day for me because I had to leave Sunday for a business trip. I'm actually in North Carolina right now. I will try to get to it this weekend if the weather is good. Sorry again.
I don't have a write up or pictures but this weekend I can write up how to pull the panels off as well as take some pictures. I will also tell you how I ran the wires for the antenna. My antenna is located on the rear roof of the car.

Yes I did. It took me about 5 hours to do the complete install. That includes putting in a PS2 in the center console for movies.
- I was having problems with the GPS until I mounted the antenna on the roof of the car. Once I did that, the GPS became very accurate.

I actually installed the Avic-D1 a couple of weeks ago. Tomorrow I am finishing the install by adding a PAC Steering wheel interface. Sirius Radio and Toyota double dim trim to close off the openings. If you still want pictures I will post them after I'm done.
