    Satoshi Grill mod instructions!

Well, I have both an FJC and FJ40 in the garage. I just bought another front badge for the LC so you can be the judge. :) Here are the part number just change the years you're looking for or as previously stated, search any of the typical LC vendors. 1969-1974 Toyota Land Cruiser 7532160010...

    Satoshi Grill mod instructions!

The 1st badge is from an early FJ40 (58-9/73) not FJC, 2nd badge is from later FJ40 (9/73+) both are still available from Toyota or any LC vendor

Vacuum Hoses & Fuel Hoses Source

    I ordered the silicone kit and then replaced everything with OEM for both our 3.4L v6s. The 3.5mm Toyota part #90999-92008 is approx 102" which was enough to replace all the small 3.5mm hose under the hood of 2 T4R's. 92008 is approx 102" 92006 = 51" 92007 = 64" 92004 = 37" 92003 = 23.5"...

Identify Steering Rack Bolt Gasket Part Number

jeff88 I think I have a OEM brand new bushing from my rack. I replaced mine with Energy Sus. when I replaced the rack a couple of years ago. I'm in either San Leandro or Dublin if you want it lets hook up. J

Evap Charcoal Cannister vacuum line recommendation

There are plenty of vendors that carry the OEM vacuum hose/"vacuum piping" in stock for Land Cruiser/Toyota owners, absolute Wit's end-$17 (kit includes 6-20" lines) , SOR-$17 for 23", cruisercorps, CCOT. I've have purchased from these vendors without any issues. OEM hose 3.5mm for smaller...

    Block oil cooler

I did one of our 98 and 00 T4R 4wd's and did not drain the oil/coolant in either case. It is messier though but I didn't lose too much of either to make it easier, you need either long reach or angled pliers or a hose-clamp tool. I also pinched off my radiator hoses. Tools needed: long reach...

Loosening 'New Style' Steering Rack Guide Lock Ring

I had to use a pipe wrench on one of our T4R's to break it loose.

Is it safe to remove this bolt on my engine?

To recall, it's one of 5 or 6 bolts/nuts on studs that holds the fan bearing housing to the block, but nothing behind housing.

    OME and Bilstein help

FYI You are asking for a 6th gen, your question is posted in a 3rd gen forum. Although, if I recall, 5/6th gen's and FJ's are similar. I think you would need an 885 or 886 for a 3 inch yield. I ran 883's on our FJ and was around 1.25/1.5"

    Sold: 3rd gen 4xinnovations sliders

WTS: 4x innovations weld on sliders with top tread. These are brand new, I just received them but I'm going completely stock due to other projects (fj40). These are the HREW with kickout and Top Tread/steps-not full tread. They list the wait time as 4-5 weeks but it's closer to 6-8 weeks...

    SHROCKWORKS group buy April 2020

I couldn't agree with you more. I contacted a seller on CL regarding an FJ40 they are selling, who is 3-4 hours away from me. I asked questions, and the seller told me to look at his CL ad which is very vague. Customer service is key in today's climate.

Need info on proper CATs for 2000 Limited Exhaust

You do not need the CARB cats unless you are planning to smog your vehicle in CA. You run just about any cat that will fit/weld in place without a CARB certification. CARB cats do not have different pipes only a CARB Executive order stamped/etched certification on the cat and a (California)...

    Fuel Injector Replacement

Like others have stated, don't go for the ebay/amazon because of the price. Both sets that I bought from there leaked causing hesitation and backfire issues. Thank god they were cheap enough to replace twice though. I too went to motowest (purchasing the newer grey denso's)-well worth it.

    OEM radio troubles

A lot of Toyota OEM (JDM) use 200mm wide stereos, but a lot of U.S. spec (Toyota) vehicles use a 180mm wide also know as double ISO opening as you now have discovered. What about widening the opening with a dremel.
