I bought an aftermarket TRD garnish for my '14 Trail, but never got around to installing it. I paid $180 for it, and it's brand new, so I'd like to get my money back, but I am open to offers. This is for the garnish only. Brand new and will fit any 4runner that isn't a Limited from 2014 - 2019...

It was about $300 for the parts and 5hrs of my life for the install.

FINALLY got around to putting a lift on my truck. I went the budget route and am pretty happy with it: Bilstein 5100 @ 2.5" up front, Toytec 1.5" spacers out back. I left my factory struts in the back for now and seems to be just fine. I'll cross that road when I need to.

SCS SR8 wheels with 285s... stock height (just trying to find time to install my lift) Specs: 17 X 8.5 4.30" backspace -10mm offset I'm really happy with the stance on these. I agree that the stock wheels are a bit too tucked; I wouldn't want them any further out than what I have now...

So fantastic that you referenced that book, I loved it. Without knowing the story, I read that while moving from MN to OR and my Dad drove out with me. Crazy irony! Also, awesome write-up. I think I'm getting a tray for my rig sometime this week, glad to know it's an easy install!

The front fender rub is easy to fix - took me about 10 minutes to do both sides. The body mount rubs real hard in reverse, because there's an edge on it that catches the tire tread pretty hard. Enough that it feels hard on the drivetrain. I am going to try getting mine aligned as far forward...

It's not a matter of something being ON the steering wheel, it's that the surface of the steering wheel is coming off. At first, it looks like paint or something, but when you get up close you can tell it's the actually the very outer surface of the vinyl coming off.

Title says it all. I'm asking $300 They have 40% tread remaining (6/32; new = 15/32) Nothing wrong with them and they balance great, I am selling them because I went to a 285.

This fall I finally buckled and sold my beloved '01 SR5 and moved up to a '14 Trail Edition Premium (35k mi). I absolutely loved my 3rd gen, but at 240k miles, I felt like I got my money out of her. So far, I'm loving the ride, power, and looks of the new rig! I intend to keep the mods super...

Hi Emmett. I'll chime in here because I am going through this right now and am playing in the CO Rockies constantly. I have a TEP with SCS SR8 wheels and 285 Duratracs, still at stock height... it rubs like hell when turning (especially noticeable in reverse because the tread catches stuff...
