This fall I finally buckled and sold my beloved '01 SR5 and moved up to a '14 Trail Edition Premium (35k mi). I absolutely loved my 3rd gen, but at 240k miles, I felt like I got my money out of her. So far, I'm loving the ride, power, and looks of the new rig!

I intend to keep the mods super mild... I guess we can call this a build thread. I'll spare you the stock pic since we all know what they look like, and jump into how it looks today:

Weathertech mats
Kiwi Bluetooth OBDII reader + Torque for Android​

Suspension/Wheels/Tires:

SCS SR8 Wheels
Goodyear Duratrac 285/70 17... with mods to the bumper cover, fender liner, and likely the body mount.
Front: Bilstein 5100s @ 2.5"
Rear: Toytec 1.5" spacers​

Other:

Blacked out trim & badges​

Plans:

Roof box (I snowboard and camp a lot)
Lighting
TRD grill mod... but somehow without dropping $600​

FINALLY got around to putting a lift on my truck. I went the budget route and am pretty happy with it: Bilstein 5100 @ 2.5" up front, Toytec 1.5" spacers out back.

I left my factory struts in the back for now and seems to be just fine. I'll cross that road when I need to.

How much did this run you if you don't mind me asking? I also just got a MGM TE and am debating a lift or tires first. I think I want to do the lift before tires.

It was about $300 for the parts and 5hrs of my life for the install.
