Geez, thanks. I promise I searched before posting! And I agree with that other post. The manual is TERRIBLE in regards to 4lo. My wife (and navigator) says the maunal said 4low is for towing heavy loads.

I highly doubt that it was the ethanol mixed in with your gas that caused a gas edger to not run. Those little tiny engines would run on anything from nail polish remover to wd40.

You could always go low tech and just pick up a coupleJerryCans. Sure you'd have to stop and pour them into the tank, but how hard is that really? and you wouldn't have any issue with stale gas, custom fabrication, possible emissions/vacuum issues.

As long as the oil pump is moving lubricant, start driving. Take it easy until everything is warmed up. If you're REALLY that worried about extending the life of your vehicle as long as possible, you should be taking it easy even when its warmed up :P

One of the problems with all of these types of noise dampening systems is that they lose their accoustical qualities over time. No matter how much you pay for the dynamat, fatmat, whatever, after two years their noise-deadening qualities are cut in half. On the other hand. Spray on bedliner...

I have an 03, I did this mod and I don't have any trouble with the compass, but after removing the relay I have a flashing light on my dash, the icon is a car with a key over it, It makes me think its a "Your key is still in the ignition" light.. Anyways, everything works, doors lick...
