    turn signal out of rythym

Loose connection with one of the signal bulbs maybe? I know when those go out the signal rate changes because of a difference in load.

SSR Auswuch wheels finally cleaned up, polished, and mounted. 15x7. Stock tire size.

    Hello, gents. New here w/a black/burgundy 1987 22RE auto.

Finally an update. State inspection and old dead tires necessitated this update. Ye olde 32" off road tires were toast. I hurriedly finished stripping and polishing my SSR Auswuch wheels and got them mounted up. Stripped with some standard paint stripper. Finished up any stubborn areas of...

There's a guy selling those on eBay. The badges are new and are backsprayed like an old guitar amplifier faceplate would be. They don't have the 3d impression that the original badges have.

    Hello, gents. New here w/a black/burgundy 1987 22RE auto.

It's tucked under the driver seat. I'm honestly thinking about doing another one under the passenger seat just to get a bit more bass. I'd probably have to grind off the return spring bracket to make it happen, or raise the rear of the passenger seat even more than I did the driver. The driver...

    Hello, gents. New here w/a black/burgundy 1987 22RE auto.

Nothing at the moment. I plan to beat some surface rust on the rear frame to death before putting a hitch on. I might do inner frame rail rust treatment all the way down just because. I've got the spray for it. I also made some progress on stripping those aluminum SSR wheels, but I need to...

    Inclinometer Questions

You will most likely destroy the right/passenger vent register to get to that corner bolt on the dash. Might as well check on eBay now. Note that the vents in the dash pad vary based on whether you have an early/long tray dash with a wrap around corner vent, or whether you have a late/short tray...

    Radiator Recommendations?

When I got my truck it had an aftermarket plastic radiator. I believe it was installed in 2011 if I recall. It broke in 2016. After doing some reading online, I got a metal CSF aftermarket radiator and cap. Nothing beats OEM, but the CSF was significantly cheaper. Radiator CSF 1640035360...

I love the look of those Aussie corner lights in the front. How do they hook up and operate? I know there are two separate bulbs VS 1 for the US.

    Tips for fighting rust

I'm about to use this stuff as well. I plan to put on a tow hitch, and I want to clean up the frame first. Wire brushes on a drill (also Eastwood), internal coat, and external, too. I'll probably take pics of the process as I do it, like everything else.

    Front lower valance

Mine arrived straight, but I still need to prime and paint it. I held it up and it roughly seemed like it would fit. I bolted in my bumper filler before painting, and it's already rusting. Not going to do the same with the valance.

    Hello, gents. New here w/a black/burgundy 1987 22RE auto.

A keen eye will notice that, along with the gray carpet and interior, that I also replaced the stereo head unit. I got a Pioneer DEH-80PRS. It's sort of their entry level audiophile unit. 16 band stereo EQ, Burr-Brown D/A converters, automatic speaker time alignment, automatic EQ settings. It...

    Hello, gents. New here w/a black/burgundy 1987 22RE auto.

So, some updates. I got the gray carpet in for the passenger section of the truck. The color is really close. Here are the floor mats compared to the original tailgate. Direction changes how it picks up the light a bit. Pulled the red carpet, and laid down some of the sound deadener...

Soft Topper Thoughts, ETA when ordering, durability?

I leave it on all year. You're not supposed to though. A guy here on the forum from Montana leaves his on year round and has had it for years and it's fine. Under 40 degrees you're supposed to be really careful with the window plastic because it can crack.
