Blew a HG last month due to overheating.
Not sure if radiator was the culprit... but if so, I'll need a new one.
And need the best. Seems like OEM is only way to go.

What do you guys recommend?

thanks

A radiator shop can pressure test it and tell you for sure whether it's good or bad. And if it's good, they can steam clean the insides to get rid of your oil/coolant milkshake and you can put it on as good as new.

When I got my truck it had an aftermarket plastic radiator. I believe it was installed in 2011 if I recall. It broke in 2016.

After doing some reading online, I got a metal CSF aftermarket radiator and cap.

Nothing beats OEM, but the CSF was significantly cheaper.

Radiator CSF 1640035360 ~$190
Cap CSF 4502 ~$5

Well you have a few options
Aluminum = better cooling+ lighter but can not be fixed on trail as easy
Copper= easily repairable and your factory rad can be recorded to be as efficient as aluminum but they are heavier and typically cost more than modern aluminum ones.
