This spring I'm planning on moving from Raleigh, NC to outside Minneapolis, MN and I was wondering if you mid-westerners had some advice for things I can do over the next year to make my 2006 V6 4wd T4R Sport, more Minneapolis winter worthy. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks guys, Joe

I just put my set in this weekend (XenonDepot H11 4300k Xtreme HID Kit). It went pretty smoothly thanks to 4RunnerRon's thread. I have to say that the "instructions" on the xenon depot website leave a little to be desired. I wish they would have had a parts list explaining what each part...

Today I called the dealership to ask if when I bought my certified 06 T4R Sport (29k miles) the dealership had performed the 30k service. The Person I talked to said two things: 1) Sure they probably did. This seems a little sketchy of an answer to me but IDK if it being a certified truck...

Today I was stopped at a red light on a really steep hill. When it turned green and I let off the brake it started rolling backwards. I hit the gas pretty fast and I heard this rumbling/almost grinding sound and the VSC light a buzzer starting coming on. Once I got moving forward it was fine...

I don't know too much about this, but you might be able to check the resistance on both bulbs with a multimeter, or you can swap them and see which one won't turn on.

This really sucks man. My advice would be to just talk to the insurance people, and certainly don't accept what they first tell you. As long as you don't be a jerk about it to them, and just explain that you just want them to make this right by giving you a fair price for the truck you'll...

From my 06 sport, but now I've noticed a lot more dirt and crud on the bottom half of the doors. Anyone else notice this too, or am I just crazy. I definitely like the look of the truck without them but if they're protecting the doors from crud I may put them back on.

I think you'd probably get more of an improvement in sound quality if you upgraded your stereo. I put in a new alpine receiver with sirius/ipod/usb/cd and got an adapter so i could keep my steering wheel controls. It sounds about 10 times better now. I'll probably end up buying the alpine...
