First video sounded like valve train noise, second video not so sure, never heard valve noise like that. Does seem to be internal. Will be interesting to learn what the verdict is.

We can run studs in Maine from October to May. I run studs on my plow truck but opted not to on the runner due to the noise. I've noticed that the Blizzaks are quite soft and that would make them wear faster, espically on dry roads. On the other hand the soft rubber is what makes them so good...

Couldnt put my hands on a set of steel wheels in a timely manner and these were the cheapest wheel I could get. I'd much prefer to run steelies cause of the road salt. Hopefully they will hold up and I'll have decent wheels year round.

If you're asking lighter as far as weight, I'm assuming you are, the are about the same as the stock wheels.
