Trading my 15 4runner for new Tundra

I sold a Tundra to get my T4R. Miss the power, but hate the size of that truck. Also, the new half tons from ford and GM massively out class the current tundra. Reliability is better for the toyotas, but drive a sierra or f150. There is no comparison to the aging Tundra. That said, a new...

    Roof racks.

Search here for info on Baja racks. Major rust issues. Look cool until then though

    4runner TRD Pro

Tundra vs 4Runner I also traded my Tundra for a TRDP. I loved that truck, but the current Tundra is old now. It is massively out-classed by the competition today. Test drive an F150 or Sierra. Toyota reliability is better, but until they come out with the next gen tundra, I wouldn't buy one.

Great taste in cars. Hope you hung on to that 1M!

Blacking out the roof rails Vinyl wrap looks great and is inexpensive, but if you plan on putting stuff up there, it will get damaged and eventually not look very good. Powder coating is much more durable.

Non-refundable deposits = RUN! It's been said here before, but not in a while. If you find a dealer that is requiring non-refundable deposits, move on. So many dealers are promising allocations that they don't have, and collecting deposits along the way. Be sure you can stay flexible to pick up...

An M4 at MSRP is not a good deal at all. Check their forum. Those guys report getting M4s for under MSRP. Sometimes several thousand. The M2 on the other hand...

I had the same problem. Dealership did an alignment and it's solved.

I also noticed the wandering on the highway. This is largely contributable to the tires. The stock Nittos are known for a mushy on-road feeling. Also makes it more compliant over bumps. I'm betting that switching to KO2s would resolve some of this. Especially if you're willing to go E rated...

I don't know why more people aren't doing exactly this. I almost went this route, but got an allocation for my cement Pro instead. You can install the Pro suspension on any T4R. It's a little pricey though. But it's engineered specifically for these trucks and it feels great both on and off road.

Post some sort of reference with these claims. Useless otherwise. They will continue to have TRDPs until the next gen T4R. Then maybe a short hiatus until they launch that version pro. They are creating a brand, and the Pro line isn't going anywhere.

I'd prefer the sliding cargo tray, and I didn't get a chance to add one to my build. It's functional to pull out heavy gear, you can sit on it like a tailgate, there's some storage under it, and it makes the cargo area flat when the second row is folded (nice if you sleep in the back while...

Toytec Boss vs Bilstein 6112/5160 setup

I see this thread is attempting to revive. What are your thoughts on getting a TRD Pro suspension and adding the toytec TRD Pro lift to it. The springs are a little softer than stock, and the Bilstein shocks are specifically valved for this truck. If you haven't driven one, it really is plush...

$6k to protect the paint on a $35k car is insane to me, but in a way, I get it. We love our cars. But I love my money too. Can't justify over 15% of the car price to protect the paint.
