Just curious but you guys getting the TRD Pro are you paying a mark up at all or is MSRP still possible? I found two but the dealers are firm on 5k which will push the overall financed price to over 50k making it not that great of a bargain.

Keep calling around. You can find one for MSRP. I (and a lot of others on this forum) have been able to get them at MSRP. If you're from California (where it seems to be he hottest place for the mark up) then try to but it out of state.

If you are finding that you cannot get MSRP or lower, you are not searching outside of your area enough. Although I did not have to drive more than 200 miles for my car, I was willing to fly and make a 12 hour drive back.

I paid $500 under MSRP for mine and went through my Credit Union for financing. I found that the cheapest, but definitely shop around before just going with the dealer.

Good info to know. I tried to go through Costco for a new TRD Pro and they said that model is not eligible for the Costco New Car program. I wonder if it's a regional thing because I know someone who got an BMW M4 for MSRP via Costco while almost everyone paid a markup.

One more question is I noticed the Canadian TRD Pros get a moonroof and some extra options. I wonder how hard would it be to get a Canadian 4Runner and bring it into the USA?

As has been said before its all about shopping around. I locked my Pro in it at $2k off sticker...granted its taken twice as long to get it as I was originally quoted. (every dealer in my home state was either offering $2500 OVER sticker or straight sticker if they even had one) My local CU was offering 1.98%@60 for top tier credit which was good enough for me. Found a local shop to do the PPF and I'll be picking the truck up tomorrow!!

M4 is not a limited production car like the TRDP. Yea some people are stupid enough to pay more than MSRP on an M4 when it first came out, but they are a dime a dozen.

TRDP from Canada would be infinitely harder to get as they get an even lower allocation than USA. Leave the Canadian TRDP for the Canadians.

Agreed...flying from Atlanta to Raleigh and driving back for mine. Come to think of it I've never purchased a car in the state I was living in at the time.

An M4 at MSRP is not a good deal at all. Check their forum. Those guys report getting M4s for under MSRP. Sometimes several thousand. The M2 on the other hand...

Non-refundable deposits = RUN!

It's been said here before, but not in a while. If you find a dealer that is requiring non-refundable deposits, move on. So many dealers are promising allocations that they don't have, and collecting deposits along the way. Be sure you can stay flexible to pick up an allocation from another dealership if it comes up.

Blacking out the roof rails

Vinyl wrap looks great and is inexpensive, but if you plan on putting stuff up there, it will get damaged and eventually not look very good. Powder coating is much more durable.

That's where my unclaimed Cement was sitting on the lot. I purchased through Chris Waller, he had an "in training" name tag and was easy to deal with. Only add on was the sliding cargo deck, and while I wouldn't have added that, it has been pretty handy. I don't know if I get a referral bonus or not, but if you wanted to mention my name to him and see I'd appreciate it.

I got my TRD Pro for what worked about to be $1355 above invoice.

Only other car besides my TRDP I ever purchased at sticker was my 1M except mythe 1M i got a $1000 under MSRP becasue of a UDE rebate plus my $500 BMWCCA rebate. TRDP sadly no rebate.... Man how the world turns

Just wanted to clarify I am not talking about this years M4, I meant the M4 when it was first released a few years ago.

So Anyone use Costco in California for a TRD PRO at MSRP?

Also any dealers reading this shoot me a pm and I will buy or order as long as I am guaranteed a cement grey 4 runner. Every post I followed up on in the last few days in this thread had their allocation already sold.

Got word from my dealership yesterday that the status of my vehicle has been changed to freight, so it should be in route to Kansas City, via train. Has anyone in the Midwest had one shipped from Portland to KC, before it was loaded on a truck? They still didn't have an estimated delivery date, but I'm hoping it's a week to 10 days.
