I am trying to decide between the BF Goodrich TAKO's and the Nitto Terra Grapplers, so if you have either of these on your truck could you please post pictures including size and any suspension mods so I can compare. And it will give all of you a chance to show off your truck. Thanks!
Considering that I use this as my hunting truck I will be going off road but I do not want mud tires because I use the hard road a lot. Why do you like the BF Goodrich's over the Cooper STT's
I am getting ready to put the cornfed 3/2 on my 06 limited 4x4 and am looking to invest in new tires. If anyone has any advice on tires they have or have heard of please let me know.
These are some of my choices
1- Cooper Discover S/T or the STT
275/65/18
2- Nitto Terra Grapplers...
First off I just want to say that your truck looks amazing I am truly jealous. I am getting ready to put on a cornfed 3/2 lift and I wasn't planning to get new tires until I saw yours.
What I would like to know is do you think I will be able to fit the 275/65/18 discover STT's on my truck...
I completley agree but until I put my lift on, which is in like a month, I don't want anything on because it makes it look taller. And true country girls can climb into any truck :D
i am getting ready to do the same thing but a cornfed 3/2 and i also pull a 4000lbs boat...im considering the air lift 1000, it's cheap, easy to install, and does what we are looking for. This should help. http://www.airliftcompany.com/al1000.html

more simply...is there any way to lock in the differential and still be in 2 wheel-drive because if one tire gets stuck the other wont even spin no matter how much I try to accelerate. it could also be the traction control trying to kick in
it seems that everytime I go off roading and come to a mud hole I have problems. If I ever get in a place with either really thick and deep mud or I have to climb out of a hole I just can't get my tires to spin. This only happens in 2 wheel drive (but thats much more fun). I will lay on the gas...
