New Tire Advice

I am getting ready to put the cornfed 3/2 on my 06 limited 4x4 and am looking to invest in new tires. If anyone has any advice on tires they have or have heard of please let me know.

These are some of my choices

1- Cooper Discover S/T or the STT
275/65/18
2- Nitto Terra Grapplers
275/65/18
3- BF Goodrich A/T KO
265/65/18 or 285/65/18
4- Toyo Open Country A/T
285/60/18

The issues that I am concerned about would be what size tire I should run because I am keeping my stock 18" wheels and whether I will need to install a Spidertrax spacer(which I don't really want to do) also how much trimming do you think will need to be done?

To get answers to the general question about the various brands of tires, you might want to do a search for some of the names. There are lots of tire threads around here.

Another good source of info is Tire Rack, a retailer in Indiana with good prices and an awesome Web site full of user reviews.

Are you going to off-road??

If you do, then i would rank them: 3 (265/65/18), 1 (STT), and then either 2 or 4 (both are the same tire with slightly different tread design).

Considering that I use this as my hunting truck I will be going off road but I do not want mud tires because I use the hard road a lot. Why do you like the BF Goodrich's over the Cooper STT's
