I think you could look at those "non slip" mats. They are rubber and stick to the dash naturally with no adhesive. You just set a few around and I bet the cover wouldn't go anywhere.

Reviving a very old thread here, but I'm a bit confused on why this ties into the existing 12v power. If you left that alone, and added a circuit to the fuse that has constant power, wouldn't all the new ports operate the same, on all the time unless the switch is turned to off?

Hey guys, a bit confused on this. I've got a 2007 Limited with just the 12V in the compartment to the left of the shifter ("ashtray" area) and one by the back hatch. Will this mod make my front 12V outlet be constant? Just want to clarify since they OP said it was for only his rear outlet.

Just picked up a 2007 V8 Limited with 170,000, one owner. Needs a timing belt and thats it. Got the Lexus dealer down to $9600.

What am I going to miss with an SR5 vs Limited? The only thing I know of right now beyond the looks and leather, is a telescoping wheel? There must be more small details I don't know about. You can get both engines on both, I guess RAS only on limiteds? Thanks everyone, Spencer
