DC Power replied and said it's direct bolt in, but they recommend doing the big three and keeping the factory wiring.

FYI for anyone in the future - SDHQ confirmed that their HO alt is direct plug and play, nothing additional needed.

I did check that one out before. I guess I'll just get my choice of HO alt and add the secondary positive cable with fuse and call it a day. Thanks!

Kind of. You can change your address as often as you'd like. You just can't use it while mobile (even though people are doing that, too).

Or, is this as simple as buying a Jackery 1000wh (or similar) setup and calling it a day? I could charge it from the 12v socket while the engine is running.
