FS: 3rd Gen 1999 Factory Grill - Charlotte, NC

I have a factory grill for a 1999 3rd gen. The truck had 141,000 miles on it when I removed it to replace it with a Satoshi mod. This is factory, so it's much better quality than the replacements on Ebay. It should fit 1996-2002 models. I have some extra clips that I will throw in with it. $40...

FS: 3rd Gen Black Sr5 Interior Trim Parts - Charlotte, NC

I have the interior pieces for a 1999 - 2002 3rd gen. I had bought these to convert my Limited wood grain to something a bit more subdued. I sold the truck and took all these parts back off. Good: The instrument panel surround, the ignition surround, and the radio surround are all in excellent...

    Driver/Passenger seat swap...

Does anyone know if unplugging that sensor may prevent the passenger airbag from deploying? I searched, but couldn't find a definite answer.

Any 1" rear spacers for the 3rd gen REAR coils?

That sounds like a god option as well. Let me know how it turns out.

Any 1" rear spacers for the 3rd gen REAR coils?

Sorry the pics don't really do it justice. It's basically level on the worst day. I honestly just need to replace the rear springs...and if I did so I would be inclined to go OEM 99 tall coils again. The OME 906's sound a bit stiff for my purposes since I rarely haul much weight. I think the...

Any 1" rear spacers for the 3rd gen REAR coils?

I can snap a few pics tomorrow. After I installed the spacers, I remember the rear being .75 to 1.00 taller than the front. Prior to that, I was 0 to .25 lower in the rear than the front. I'm sure it was from the aging original springs. I have the original 99 tall springs all the way around.

Any 1" rear spacers for the 3rd gen REAR coils?

I've had these on the rear for over a year now with no shifting or slipping out. Superior Automotive/Donut style coil spring booster 18-1901 at AutoZone.com The directions say that you slide these up the coil, but I just installed it between the top spring perch and the coil. I cut the edges...

    Rear Driveline

Subscribed... OP: I am having the same issues. A wha-wha-wha-wha sound at 40-45 mph. I can feel mine though the floor. I jacked up the rear end and I have some slip/twisting/backlash at both the transfer case and differential. The only difference is that if I really yank on the DC, I feel...

Rear Wheel Bearing Check with Removed Axles

I did some checking tonight. The results: Lifted Rear Drive Test - No noise remotely like the video clip at speed. Removed Brake Drum - Shoes were very tight (which may explain some of the drag). Some signs of previous moisture, but nothing dripping. Shoes and drum surface were both...

Rear Wheel Bearing Check with Removed Axles

Thanks for that link! That sound is very distinctive for sure. I will add this test to my list of checks to do this week.

Rear Wheel Bearing Check with Removed Axles

I think I will slip the drum off and peek through the ABS sensor port later this week. Like I said before, this noise has been going on for some time. I thought it was from the worn out tires I was riding on, but now I have new tires and it's doing the same thing.
