Didn't really think on the title much ....sorry about that...as far as paint since I have no holes in the body I was thinking of painting imitation flares to cover up the rub points and it would be bedliner and on second thought prolly a bad idea because it would leave a lip going from stock...

So I'm just curious about a couple things ....been trying for the last week to find info but no luck so I'll post .....has any one tried to modify the rear sr5 mud flaps to fit the front since toyota discontinued them for the black sr5 trim and has any one removed the flares all the way around...

Product recommendations? And I thank you for your advice I now want a set of those caps lol they make the truck look even ...they match the trim in front of the back wheels almost perfectly

Looked way worse until I painted them ...doesn't look bad as a temporary thing but I will def be pulling them back off after I fix that rust spotand doing my original plan .....have to put those flaps to some use since I got them for free and spent a whopping 6 bucks on paint lol

To answer your question they don't really have a gap but the flares stick out 2 inches farther than the flaps do ....the flaps ride real close to the body .....I'm still painting the flares right now...I'll have the front 2 finished by Tuesday hopefully and I'll put them back on and snap a quick...

So update on the flaps ....since I did more research and found out they are not correct thanks to t4r2014 for pointing that out and making me sound like an idiot ....the good news is they bolt on and fit they just don't match my trim ....I'll get some pictures up as soon as I get everything...

They are not rear flaps they are front flaps and they are OEM I'll have to get the numbers off them ...only reason they are so called wrong is because they are not off a highlander edition like mine...but that doesn't matter to me at all since they are already painted and will be painting...
