I was getting 17-18mpg after 2/1 lift I noticed NO change in mileage I put on 265/70-17 Genneral AT's and lost about 2-3 mpg ::crybaby: Ive never lost that much mileage from that small of a tire change before.. I was thinking I might loose 1/2 mpg At this point im just gonna save for gears...

I have mine level now and I actually wish the rear was slightly higher, if I even just load the back up with a few tools the rear looks like it drops waaaay down lol, much worse with a trailer.

Tread wear seems fine I've always ran my tires a little higher than recommended for the vehicle but never higher than the tires max cold inflation psi.

I have the lighter tire the 115S not the LT I just noticed these tires are made in the USA... wow And I also noticed the max inflation is 44psi, I have them at 40 right now I might try bumping them up to 44/45 and see if that helps at all.... Edit: Just looked up the weight of the tires...

Not sure what the rolling resistance is on these generals but must be horrible, wish I could try a set of bfgs for a week just to compare. I keep mine at 40psi also, maybe I should try higher

Thanks for chiming in, I'm gonna look into the plugs and maybe even check the back pressure on the catalytic converters to make sure there not getting clogged (they do smell bad under load?)

Well there are NO toyotas in junkyards around here so thats not an option and I would hate to buy a junkyard one offline being as they all seem to fail around 100-150k miles and I wont have anyway to know if its gonna be good or not.

I did add in the roughly 3% for tire size difference witch was very minimal change in miles. On the order sheet it says 4 Ply Rated is what I ordered. I guess I should have just stayed with the 265/65 This is crazy for a big torque making v8 to loose this much power and mileage for a measly 1"...
