My dealership quoted $3000 for a factory remanufactured (as close to new as it gets) transmission plus $1000 labor with a 1 year warranty. I'd have a dealer do it, I've heard a lot of problems with ammco and as a cop I've had to respond to irate customers at my local ammco.

No XREAS. I took the top nut off and disconnected the bottom of the shock from the mount. The bushings and washers are stuck and I can't pull the shocks out. I covered the bushing area with penetrating oil. Hopefully they'll come out today.

I'm swapping my factory suspension for an OME kit. I've taken out all the bolts but I still can't get the rear shocks off. The top of the shock won't come down out of the bushings. There's no nut, just the bushings and washer on the shocks. Am I doing something wrong? BTW, this is on a 2003...

If you've ever taken your MAF sensor out to clean it then you'd know it's not very big. IMO I wouldn't swap out the part. The factory unit probably doesn't cause much air flow constriction in the first place; I don't see how this one would help. I could buy something more useful with that...
