Pic Request - Tundra rims on 4Runner

I've got a request...
I think the 16" rims on my 2003 4Runner are pretty ugly.
When my tires run out (it'll be a few years, just got new tires) I'd like to swap rims.
I like the 4th gen 5 spoke limited rims, but I know the Tundra rims also fit.

I've seen pics of 4th gen 4runner with the 10 spoke Tundra rims, but I cannot find those pics anymore. I've looked all over google and many forums but can't find any. The only ones I can find have been powder coated black.

So, if any of you have those Tundra rims on your 4Runner then could you post a pic?
It'd be really nice if I could see what those rims look like on a titanium silver 4Runner.

These are the rims I'm talking about:

Sorry no pictures but correct me if I'm wrong, aren't those the Sequoia wheels?

I think the TUndra came with them also. I wouldnt mind seeing a pic of silver ones on a Runner

Here's a couple pics of my 08 Urban Runner with 17" 2006 Tundra Limited silver rims with Michelin LTX AT/2 tires.

I actually like the looks of these over my stock 18" rims.

I had another set of these on my 2000.

Yes both the tundra and sequoia have the same wheel, however, the sequoia version is gunmetal, and the tundra is silver.

Gunmetal? Hmm I didn't know that. gunmetal would look nice on a galactic gray. Thanks for the info you've sparked me to look for some of them gunmetal wheels. :bouncy:

Do those wheels have a different offset? They look to have a wider stance on 4Given's 4R.

Yes. the offset is 15mm vs 30mm for the stock wheels. Overall the track increases by 30mm (15mm/wheel). 25.4mm is about an inch... The track increase is less than the Spidertrax spacers but wider than stock.

I have a set of the Gunmetal Sequoia wheels on my 3rd gen and compared it to my 4th gen's 18's and they look to be the same finish...

Btw, first post (bought the new runner in dec) hope it was somewhat helpful

Thanks for the pics.

I started this thread because some guy on craigslist has a really cheap set.
However, he sent me a pic and they're actually the 5 spoke 16" rims.

He said he'd sell them for $50, but I have to drive 1.5 hrs each way to pick them up.

What do you guys think about these rims?
Do they look better than the factory 6 spokes on my SR5?

I found a pic from 4x4rnr on yotatech:

Here's a pic with OME lift (which I'm gonna do soon):

I could swap my tires onto those rims and they will set my wheels out 15mm on each side.
The Tundra rims are 15mm offset vs the 4Runner's 30.
They're only 50 bucks...hmm...

Those wheels are from a tacoma not bad looking wheels.. plus you get to use your tires still.. when your tires gets worn out maybe you could upgrade to a different set you know.. totally up to you.. FJ TRD wheels would also be a good option...

Actually, they came on the earlier Tundra's, too. Also on the Sequoia's.

They're not my favorite, either. I had the 5 split spoke Tundra wheels (17") on my 3rd Gen and I liked them.

Also, if you're looking for Tundra wheels, do NOT get the 07-08 ones (I see them floating around quite a bit now). They are 5 lug.
