I had the skid plate itch few weeks ago and after canceling an order, returning another one plus getting the oppsey feedback from BAM I’m certain most vendors are not even aware the new part number means red trd letters so they keep using old stock photos showing the stamped skid plate.

The bottom of the lumbar plate almost touches the whiplash system's actuator. I am just guessing that during accident the plate presses against the actuator, if you move the plate up somehow then the whiplash prevention may not be operational anymore. Another big question mark is what it takes...
