Not just trying....This water was a piece of cake. Trust me, the 4Runner has many more inches of water clearance (even stock) than the piddly little puddle I drove through. Open the hood and look at the air intake position...then find the vent. Pretty high up and shouldn't be a problem...

We had a great time. Plenty of puddles but no heavy or deep mud. TR

Ahh-yup.... Just got the Runner loaded and headed out for some camping and fishing at Grand Lake Stream. Lots of dirt roads and lakes so the Runner is going to get real dirty. I'm hoping for cloudy but prepared for rain. TR

Grab the Delorme atlas. It will show your area well and lists most of the logging roads and trails. Other than that you may try contacting an offroad store. TroutRunner

You mentioned that it changed your ride only a little bit. What little bit do you mean. I've heard it can stiffen the ride. Is there a difference in the stiffness of the ride when you use the aluminum versus the daystar polyurethane? TroutRunner
