Doing some research I've seen that a few people have fit 01 - 04 Tacoma bumpers on 4th gens. Specifically a few cheaper steel Ebay bumpers, and I've seen an ARB as well. Anyone have a link or know the steps to making this work? Thanks in advance.

I've seen one guy on youtube run a Tacoma bumper, and the bumper mounting holes don't line up with the 4Runner's bumper bolts from the frame. So I believe you need to basically mock up the Tacoma 3rd gen bumper, mark the holes, and then re-drill the 6 mounting holes on each side.

I'm surprised your vehicle didn't have factory breathers like my '07 Limited V8 did, since they're about the same model. But for anyone who is doing this & replacing their stock diff breathers, did you replace the unions as well? Or just the tubing & breathing mechanism

I just got these codes in my truck as well, but only after replacing thr throttle body with one from Rock Auto. Truck runs fine, but first time these engine codes have come up. And I’ve had cracked manifolds for a while.

If the newer Toyota 5.7 mounted to the stock transmission, or the engine & transmission mounts lined up, then I'd go with that. If not and I had to do all the fab work, then I'd just go with a ford 302. I like low end torque.
